omg, your poor bird.

Chances are it wont fly to well without them you will have limited control as the rotors are connected to the flybar via ball links

as for the battery....charge it first before thinking radio is bung! the wall chargers arent the best of chargers but they do their job if given time, nimh batterys like to run a little warm off the charger, i used to run 16nimh cells in a RC boat with a 700 motor, when you leave them to go cold/or dont charge them properly they just dont perform (im not talking getting them hot hot hot , just warm)
