Default RE: Skymaster Gear

Hi Bob

You should have around 2 or 3 degrees of toe-in. You need to adjust the struts in the retracts to have this setting. What you can do if you are having a difficult time getting the screw adjusted with the gear installed; just tighten the pinch screw till you can turn the struts in the retracts with some pressure then install them, adjust the toe in then carefully remove the retracts then fully tighten them. I usually adjust the toe-in by eye. I have someone hold the airplane sideways on a table covered with a thick blanket or foam, then I twist the main gear so compared with the wing root, or side of the fuselage they slightly point inward.

Im PM, ing you my phone # call me if you need help.
