The problem is if you get ca on your fingers and then try to handle your contact lenses, it ruins them. Long ago i started wearing disposable latex gloves when using ca and epoxy, they cost about 7 dollars for a box of one hundred. I go through a lot of them but it's still cheaper than new contacts. it's probably not a great idea to be taking a bath in acetone or debonder all the time, either.
