There is room for an inverted 2-stroke and muffler. I use a Magnum 91 XLS with a Slimline sport scale
muffler...works great, wraps around the rear of the engine, fits completely inside the cowl, and I have no trouble
with fuel flow or transition-just needs an electric starter sometimes.

I've always heard about trouble with inverted 2-strokes, but I've seen plenty of installations and talked with owners about it and it seems as long as you're willing to spend the time to adjust the needles properly, they run fine-
just tune it with your ears. If you haven't got a pair, find someone who does.
