I've primed, puttied and sanded the wing to my F4 Phantom. I used Rustoleum automotive primer and the wing turned out well. However, after I painted it using gloss-black paint from Behr the wing suddenly is showing all kinds of imperfections that didn't show up in the primer stage. Do darker colors reveal imperfections more than lighter colors? If so, I'll need to strip the paint from the wing and go with a lighter color.
