there is no need to get on this kids case. in my experiance tape works really well for drifting. the only problem that i found with tape is that it didnt last me a whole batt pack. you dont need power tools or special equipment to set your car up. with regards to your remark that 27 turn motors are the best, well i have news for you. they are not. the cars have such a high power to weight ratio that even a low turn motor can break the tires lose. if i had the money to spend i'd b running a 15 turn motor. the extra speed allows for more correction during a drift. the most important thing about drifting is having a good time.
