RE: GP Venus fly 3D?
There might be a plane out there in that size that can do both but I doubt it does both very well, perhaps someone else can chime in if they know of one.
The .82 would be a great match to a UCD 3D .46 or a Funtana .40, both fly nice but are quite different in their habits and capabilities. The Venus has a thin wing and really does it's best stuff at higher speeds, pattern flying is it's forte' but 3D is asking a bit much of the design.
