Default RE: Brake lubrication ?

rcs1313,

I've been using White Lithium Grease for a couple years and it works great. When my brakes start getting a little "grabby", I clean the hubs, bushings, axles and o-ring, then I wipe a thin coat of grease on the o-ring and axle before re-assembly. The product that I have been using is available from Permatex in a 1.5 oz tube (part number WL-9) which should last for many many brake lube jobs. The Dielectric Tune-up Grease is available in a 3 oz. tube (part number 22 058) also from Permatex. Your local auto parts store should have both of these.

Happy New Year!

John
