I agree but the stuff about the pressure line is a white elephant

If you are racing, once the engine is running it takes minimal time for the tank to pressurise and the only time I can see it coming into play is at fuel stops because by the time you get away at the start the engine has been running long enough to get to full pressure but when you refuel and get dumped back in the pit lane you may not have got back to full pressure.

Bashing it may make a difference if you start the car with a part tank of fuel cos then it has to half fill the tank to get to working pressure but that's it.

I guess one of the Pros will come and shoot me down now but hey I'm a newish basher so who cares
