Well, I thought I had that all taken care of with a Schulze 18.97, and then a friend who lives across the country from me mentioned that he was trying to sell a Castle Creations Phoenix 80. He shipped it to me for $100 (retail is what? 160, 175?). Anyway, I'm sure the Schulze will do fine (even though you've managed to blow one up), and I thought I might as well give the Phoenix a try. It's marketed for large airplanes and heli's, but we'll see.

Have you tried any of the flight esc's in your cars? I'm assuming that the only difference between flight and car esc's should be throttle and brake profiles, if that. I guess we'll see - if it doesn't work, I'm pretty sure I can get my money back on eBay.
