It depends on on what you define as low cost. Our target cost per unit is about $100K ea and 5K/day operating cost. Compared to our nearest competition (for mach 0.5+ LOW altitude (20 - 50M ASL) type targets) is $1m/unit and 200K/day operating cost. Ou UAV is cleared to fly in military airspace under test conditions and have full autonomous autopilot and flightplan and safety recovery footprint GPS hardware. Our target is specifically designed for SAM defence for ships against incoming Exocet class missiles.
AUW = 30Kg and takeoff weight incl 38l Jeta1 60Kg. Power is by 2 x 200KS engines for a top speed of 500 - 600 kph.
Contruction is all carbon nomex composite and moulded mostly in one part using CNC milled moulds. Vacuum bagged and oven cured.
