Default RE: Size ? Cost

haha......well I got a little intimadated by the dimensions and decided to go for the Typhoon. I'll be starting that in a couple of weeks. Since I about that time I posted I took some time off from my RC stuff for the fall. But it's winter in the California mountains and time to be inside. Time to get my projects ready for Spring/Summer.

That Lionfish looked skinny and I didn't see anywhere where anyone had made it RC. I am trying to procure the "Hunt for Red October" Typhoon kit. I think I have bead on one and hope to make that version RC. I think it will make a great first time conversion. Plenty of room and about the 2 challenges I see are:
1)I want to link the front dive planes with the rear to make diving/surfacing more responsive since it is a dynamic diver.

2) creating some gearing or belt to drive both screws. Unsure if the screws that come with the kit will be suitable to use for propelling this sub, or will i have to get diffrent ones.

Nice to hear from ya again Cap!
