I have two OS .46 AX engines. Both were broken in by the manual. I use the A5 OS glow plug in mine. Once set, you generally never have to fool with needle valve. One is on my Tiger 2 and the other on my U Can Do. I run Byron 10% nitro fuel.
Both planes perform great with this engine.
Looks like I fly electric today though. 42 degrees, 7 mph winds but, the field has so much water, looks like the Ohio river ran thru it.
Luckily, I have 50 acre horse farm to fly...just gotta watch out for the manure pile!!!
