Only problem with converting the big Tigers to gas is that you have to use a large amount of oil in the gas, or the connecting rod will go away soon. Used be someone who made a needle bearing conrod for them.
C&H ignitions has a conversion kit. They also have some info on the pros & cons in their FAQ section.
