Yes, one or both of two things are happening, you have to close the carb so that when u let go of the throttle the carb is at 1mm opening, and or also check your idle needle and bring the idle needle down if the carb is set in the correct 1mm position, by bringing the needle down i mean turn the needle out (counterclockwise) a little at a time till the car can idle at a stand still position, hope this helps!
