i agree with you Pauly,once running,a gas motor shouldn't shut off unless out of fuel or you shut it off.Now as to the other post byNogyro,think about what you said. You changed from a G-62 to the DA 50 and didnt have to add any weight toreballance,hmmmmmmmm seams to me then that the DA must WEIGH EXACTLY the same as the G-62.Yet everyone seams to be having problems with the DA,but i still dont see any posts about G-62's having problems!

I hardly think that "Everyone" is having problems..dont forget..RCU is a small group in the big picture And as far as the weight goes..the G62 without a muffler weighs 4.5 lbs..the DA-50 without muffler weighs 3.3 lbs...thats not even close!! Maybe he compensated by shifting things around in the fuse?

I agree a gas engine IF PROPERLY TUNED shouldnt shut off in flight either..If the needles arent right no engine is going to run correctly..(Not saying you dont know how to tune an engine Scott)[8D]
