I have had problems with Jet A getting algae and plugging my filters on the turbines. So I switched to kerosene and never had a problem with algae. Plus the odor is less offensive than JetA. You can buy a algaecide made for diesel fuel storage at a truck supply, if you desire. Where I live they sell clear kerosene in bulk for heating stoves this time of year, it's convenient. You might look in your area or go to Home Depot and buy it in five gallon cans.
