Default RE: Mini Giles rocks!

Hi Dion...As you know I am flying the mini Giles in AFP[X(]. The only change that I have made to the plane is to move the CG back to (minus)-0.2.
Now anyone could fly it to a very high hover[sm=tongue.gif]. Then add left or right aileron. Work the throttle and the plane will back down to the ground while torque rolling. Works equally well rolling in either direction. Add throttle for perfect climbing torque rolls. The only change I would make would be to reduce inertia when flipping with full elevator because it tends to over rotate when the elevator is released. I don't know how to change that but I don't give up easily[sm=idea.gif]. I love this little plane. Obsessed with a little Giles.

ORIGINAL: STLPilot

Rodeo this mini Giles is just awesome! I think I have a new favorite plane for AFP.

So far I added 60 deg on rudder and CG to .5.

Put the rudder propwash at 100.

Voltage per cell 1.5.

Thanks again Rodeo !!! Keep them coming.

If anyone else has some input on this model ... post it here.

Hopefully Maarten will tune in.
