Hey Iron Cross, your in luck
you've made me change my mind on getting our of the house today. It's 15 F#$@ degrees today, and I was debating wether or not to go down to Toledo and drop the gear off.
Now here's the lucky part.
www.tntlandinggear.com will build you a gear. I had them make up a single piece gear for the Lancair that Great Planes makes, instead of the stupid two piece that comes with the kit. So, give them a few weeks and they'll have one made. Once they make a gear, they add it to there stock.
How's the planes stance on the stock gear. Is it to short or to tall, to wide or to skinny?
Oh, here's the best part about going to Toledo, I get to fly down. The crappy part is that I have to pre-heat the airplane for an hour, because it 's so cold.
Email me with what you think on the gear.
