Yes, the Saito .72 would work very well, after all the plane weighs 7 pounds or more! It was a little bit of a struggle to take off with my OS.52, but I had wheel pants on and they were dragging in the grass. Be prepared to land rather fast as this plane cannot be glided in like a trainer....it will stall. On landing, mine did with a bent gear and cracked pant as a result. Guess I should take some heavy warbird landing lessons!!
I suggest that you seriously consider the Saito .82. It just about makes the Saito .72 and .91 both obsolete. It weighs about the same as the .72 and puts out almost the power of the .91 according to engine tests. It would be a slightly more versatile engine for you expecially if you are into aerobatics. Or it could swing a 3 bladed prop on that Cessna for a more scale look......if you are into spending some money for all of this!!!
