Goldberg Ultimate / Evolution 1.00
I have been flying now for 3 1/2 seasons. Although they are short seasons here in upstate NY. I trained on an Avistar, and still love to fly it, and have been learning my tricks on a Sig Somethin Extra. Recently i traded for a Goldberg Ultimate. This will be my first plane that is not a 40 size and I want to make sure that I get an egine that has enough power, but I am on a tight budget right now.
I have seen reference to people who have flown these with OS 1.08. I have also read up on the great 2 Stoke vs 4 Stroke debate and have considered a 4 Stroke. Recently I came across the Evolution 1.00. I had read some good reviews on the .46 Evolution and was thinking about trying the 1.00 in my Ultimate. At about $160 it comes in much lower than the OS 1.08 in price. Maybe their will be a 4 stroke in my future, but would this be a good option for flying the Ultimate for now. Also would I have trouble finding a muffler to fit in the cowl with the Evolution 1.00.
I cant wait to fly something a little bigger but want to make sure I have enough power. I put a OS 46 AX in my Somethin Extra, i loved the extra power over the 40 I had been using. I really want to start learning some aerobatics with this plane so i want enough power.
