Kerosene is not immune to the algae. The algae problem usually comes from bulk storage tanks where you buy your fuel. In fact you might be more likely to get algae in bulk kerosene than in Jet-A, since the storage tanks for Jet-A are probably kept cleaner than bulk kerosene tanks.
