Hi Motoracer, I have one of these. It looked really good. I had a K&B .40 in it, but it was tailheavy. With a Heavy Hub and 2 Heavy Hub nuts, it was still tailheavy. It flew but was squirrley. I put a Super Tigre .51, Heavy Hub and 7 1/2 oz. of Prather lead strips bolted to the top front of the engine mount. The battery was in the compartment just behind the mount. It didn't fit on the bottom, so I put it in the top. Finally it balanced on the 80 cm line. I took it up. It flew better, but my muffler loosened and caused a dead stick situation. I was a little too high, so I made a circle before going to the downwind leg, as I went to level it, it literally capsized, and DRILLED into the ground. I could not save it. I am guessing that all this extra weight above the thrust line did this. I will rebuild it , but next time I will glue the weights to the inside of the cowl on the BOTTOM. I will also use a flat battery pack that I can put UNDER the tank. It would cost me $55 to send it back to Horizon for them to MAYBE replace it. The cowl cracked, the engine mount broke, and worst of all, my favorite Perry carb was smashed by the cowl. It hit the mud, and somehow the prop survived! The front formers and a wing saddle were smashed. Four inches of wingtip came off, but the fuselage retained it's shape. It will fly again!! [X(][
