it is a good learining buggy very durable. The .26 can be touchy to tune. I had one and raced all year on it and it never broke its tough. As stated above the violator is not legal. But some tracks have a portsman class that lets you run this type of buggy and non legal buggies. This class is more for beginners. To make it legal you would have to cut your arms ( I believe the violators are marked where to cut) get a smaller fuel tank and a .21 size engine. But if you think you will be hooked right away as most of us are you are better off getting into the hyper 7 series. More race worthy, race legal and alot lighter
