RE: How are the planes in Reflex XTR?
I have downloaded many of the planes, but have found that in torque roll training, the planes are extremely stable, when compared to the Katana's that come with the simulator. Which is correct??? I have also noted that the elevator and rudder throws, for example, are nowhere near as extreem, on the downloads, as the models we fly for real. I think it is the Funtana that when the elevator is changed to throws of 45 degree's, the elevator effectiveness increases to 183%. This seems odd to me. Has anyone else noticed this? I have never flown a Funtana, though I do own one that I hope to have ready this spring, but is a Funtana really as stable as the downloaded model show's??? I would be interested in knowing how people are modifying these planes to fly right. Perhaps we should have a thread, just on recommendations for these downloads. Oh, I also noticed that in AFP Deluxe, the Shock flyers are very difficult to hold in a hover, but the XTR Shock Flyer that I downloaded, is very happy in a hover. Which is right? Thanks for your input!
