nah - the 47t is 1st gear.

if ur chassis is still straight, then it could just be some flexing that is causing the gear to strip. do u have the alloy brake seat, that helps a lot. it might be worth trying some extra bracings, try some m3 rod, cheap from the lhs and easy to do. have a look in the pic between the brake seat and the front diff top plate mount to see what i mean.

everything kinda loosened up on mine after a year or so of good hammering about, i changed the self tapping screws in the plastic parts for m3 screws, the tighter thread gave a better bite.

all these bits done together do make quite a bit of difference.
