Default RE: How are the planes in Reflex XTR?

Briansommers,
I hate to be a bearer of bad news, but Reflex XTR will weathervane the planes and blow them across the ground with wind too... Both AFPD and XTR simulate wind and flight very well... What they DON'T simulate very well is friction. If you had a plane on the grass obviously the friction would keep it from blowing around on the ground... It's not simulated though, so it does... Another place this can be seen on either sim is in the "indoor" scenes... Invert a heli and sit it on the roof with full negative pitch... On a real heli it would plant firmly on the ceiling and not move a hair (while you threw down your transmitter to run to the pepsi machine for a quick refresher... ) but in both Reflex and XTR it will "slide" along the ceiling like it were ice... Can't expect them to get everything perfect... [8D]
