I agree with Todd, 3-6 oz. The Eclipse that I painted for you last year was exactly 3.6 oz. in weight gain. I keep up with all that when I am in the process of painting. It helps to have a really good gun to atomize the paint in order to get the best coverage. I use Basecoat Clearcoat by Dupont and the main area I see people make a mistake with this paint is in the base colors. Keep in mind if you are using this system that you do not want to put the base colors on shiney. The clearcoat will take care of the shine.
