My method may be a bit more primitive, but it works. I use the adhesive velcro with one side on a piece of foam and the other adhered to the desired location on the plane. I secure the foam/velcro piece to the component with rubber bands and stick it to the airframe.

I've seen people use just velcro, with is probably OK for high frequency/low amplitude vibration, but I prefer to have the foam in place for extra isolation.
