One way to prevent CA hinge failure is to squeeze the balsa together while glue is still wet to ensure better bond and make sure there no gaps betweem hinge and balsa that thin CA cannot gap over. I always do a crash analysis and have noticed sometimes glue did not penetrate to rear of hinge.
