I learned on Avistar and don't have anything to add to what has already been said. I really liked that plane, right up to when it had a head on with a bird. Not much left after that. If I were to buy another trainer, I wouldn't hesitate to have another Avistar. But, if you are true RC addicted (and if you aren't, you will be soon) you can always buy both
