Look at any glow trainer. They all have a signifigant amount of right thrust, as well as down thrust. I believe it's a function of the airplane's design, high-wing, flat-bottom airfoil. It's been my experience that they're more sensitive to changes in throttle than more aerobatic, neutrally stable types.
