I don't in any way mean to denigrate the RCU marketplace or its advertisers. It's just not a good place for a beginner to start, IMHO. You need to have a little bit of knowledge to sift through the chaff in the market or on _Bay. You can get a tried and true setup from someplace like Tower for about the same as you would pay for the items you are looking at.

I'd give the local guys another try. I'm sure someone will be helpful. You're kind of in the middle of nowhere (no offense intended, I love that area of Missouri), so you may have to take what you can get. If you don't mind driving a bit, I would think there would be someone in Joplin or perhaps Ft. Scott that could help, but I wouldn't want to drive that far to fly on a regular basis. In the meantime, you'll have no shortage of opinions from those of us on RCU.
