Default RE: reverse a JR 8411 servo......HOW?

JetMax,

It is possible to reverse the direction of an 8411. I've seen 8411's on which it was done, but unfortunately, I can't give you any info. on how to do it. You might find someone in this group that can tell you, or, I think Horizon will do it for you. What I will say is that I would not put a servo reverser like the one mentioned above on a primary control in a jet. I say this for two reasons. First, they can fail, and because if this, a servo with a reverser in-line with it is less reliable than a servo by itself - fact. Second, most of the ones like that are analog devices and can drift with temperature. Thus if its on a primary control, your trims will be changing all the time. You can reverse a servo with a JR Matchbox, which is a digital device, and has a good reliability record, but there are top jet guys who will tell you that they won't even put a Matchbox on a primary control on a jet.
