I've never tried it with a 8411, but in order to reverse most servos you have to swap the outer two wires on the pot (potentiometer) and also swap polarity to the servo's motor.
If you aren't comfortable soldering itty-bitty things in a very confined area it is a job better left for a professional.

JetMax,
It is possible to reverse the direction of an 8411. I've seen 8411's on which it was done, but unfortunately, I can't give you any info. on how to do it. You might find someone in this group that can tell you, or, I think Horizon will do it for you. What I will say is that I would not put a servo reverser like the one mentioned above on a primary control in a jet. I say this for two reasons. First, they can fail, and because if this, a servo with a reverser in-line with it is less reliable than a servo by itself - fact. Second, most of the ones like that are analog devices and can drift with temperature. Thus if its on a primary control, your trims will be changing all the time. You can reverse a servo with a JR Matchbox, which is a digital device, and has a good reliability record, but there are top jet guys who will tell you that they won't even put a Matchbox on a primary control on a jet.

It is more easy and cheap than purchase a servo reverse.

I'm using two from Cermark on my Super Flying King and they have worked great for me:

I'm using the ones for $15 :

I've ordered lots of stuff from Cermark and they've delivered on time and without a problem. Usually will take them three days to get an order and I live in Campbellsville KY...

Thanks a lot for the goog links, i think the cermark thing will be perfect for my use. Time to place an order
As for the wire swapping: works great, i have done it to several servos without problems. I am, however, starting to switch to the HiTec digital servos, which can be reversed using the servo programmer. Give them a try, they are fairly cheap in the entry level class and HiTec has superb products in my opinion. Was a little sceptical at first, but i've seen so many used in jets over the past few weeks that i'm not worried. Have the first set of my own now, placing them on turbine flight control surfaces.

I knew it was a bit more then just swapping lead wires. When it comes to going into the servo, I'll leave it for the guys who do it full time.
Cheers
