As for the wire swapping: works great, i have done it to several servos without problems. I am, however, starting to switch to the HiTec digital servos, which can be reversed using the servo programmer. Give them a try, they are fairly cheap in the entry level class and HiTec has superb products in my opinion. Was a little sceptical at first, but i've seen so many used in jets over the past few weeks that i'm not worried. Have the first set of my own now, placing them on turbine flight control surfaces.
