Default Top Flite DC-3 spar

Of course I've glued it in place but I'm going to ask anyway. I'm building the center section of the wing. The top spar is sitting about 1/16" above the top of the ribs. I glued it thinking that maybe the sheeting was intended to butt up against the spar "it's a very uniform 1/16" on all ribs". I looked forward in the instructions and the top sheeting looked like it went over the spar[:'(]. What do I do? I'm not about to cut the spar down so will it be ok to butt the sheeting against the high spar? Thanks for any thoughts. Deltatech
