Richyp, thanks for the pics of the engine and its setup. I guess I am going to have to live with my spinner backplate being about an 1/8" away from the cowl. The carb neck on the Saito 120 just sticks out to far to get any closer to the firewall. If I could find a way to do a short right angle and reposition the carb, I could get closer to the firewall. I have looked for a solution, but most of the adapters I have seen are for exhaust and not intake...
