well i cut my wing open and all i can say is good grief[:-] there was no glue on most of the ribs. all of them to the servo are exploded. even the one that was rigged because someone in the factory broke the "foam" strength balsa rib and attempted to glue a doubler in there which is also broke and glued with a 1/8 gap. the only thing holding it was a glue gob.. the trailing edge "soft balsa" is broke. the top sheeting was broke. there was no glue on the farthest rib that makes the cutout for the wing saddle.. so basicly the only thing holding the wing together is the main spar and the bottom sheeting i cut off.. even the streamers were soft balsa.. i wouldnt trust this wing in a harrier much less a blender.. I chalk this up with all the other problems i had with this plane as another stab in the rear by BME.. I also have a lesson learned with this PILE.. its a shame too because the plane actually flies good
. so they get a 10 on that a goose egg on everything else....
i will post pic when i get time...[:@][:@][:@]

here it is with every mangled rib out and pieced back together for my pattern to make new ones... I will fix it all and glue the heck out of it.. (something they forgot) and if it flies apart oh well

Lee, I wish mine could have been repaired like that. Sorry to hear about the wing problem, I don't recall if any of you have conteacted BME and told them of the problem, someone may have I just don't recall right now.
So what d'ya think they saved weight on....that's right..glue. Leave it off and save an ounce.
My wing was about the only thing on my CM that was not broken, go figure.

main spar? no it wasnt... TE spar yes if you look very closly wher the aileron cutout makes the 90 degree. it is broken there... the 2 small streamers you see are really useless.. they are so soft you could cut them in half with your fingernail...,, same with TE and ribs.. ehen the put the wing together.. they just laid the stuff out.. and then used the " HOT GLUE" style glue but instead of gluing the part in.. they just ran beads beside the parts.... so every rib is only glued on 1 side "the ones that are glued".. I have bought reject ARFs that have better work in them.. as a matter of fact i have one of the reject yaks they were unloading on E-bay and the quality of construction is 5 stars above this cap.. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=3311895

BME is clearencing them and has been for awhile.
Rumor had it that they were going to make another airplane like it and a few others to like a Yak, etc.
I did like flying this airplane and kinda miss it but I have moved onto other airplanes. I have debated a couple
of times about buying another but I decdied on getting a World Models Volex II as a replacement for the CM.

It won't handle the vibration very well. Not much glue is used to begin with. You'll also have to land hotter. Probably need different landing gear. It's too short for a 16 or 17 inch prop. However, you're certainly able to make that choice.
I have a 90 FS in mine and it's plenty of power and flies nice.
