Default oh no, not flying wingtips!!!

Hey all,

I am building a Sig Astro Hog. Following the plans and manual to a tee I inadvertantly discovered a mistake! Per the plans I glued the wingtip on to the right wing only to discover later - after the glue had dried, of course - that the leading edge of the wingtip does not match the datum line (from the center of the LE to the center of the TE) of W5 as it is supposed to be.

The question is what to do now? Leave them as is and have something like "washin" rather than straight as it should be, saw off the wingtips and lose 11" of wingspan or call Sig and have them send me another wing kit.

Sadly, these things always seem to happen on a weekend when no tech help is available.

Has anyone else experienced this?
