I use Pinnacle Systems Studio 9. Well worth the $100.
It allows you to incorporate stills, mp3's, rip CDs and if you go for the Plus upgrade, Chromakey and Picture In Picture. I have messed with Windows movie maker and Adobe Premiere. The former was too crude and limited and the second requires you to be a full time video editor to get the best usage. Probably the best but WAY too complicated and involved for the amateur video dude like me.
All the videos on my site were made with some version of Studio. I think I started with version 7.
