I agree, I don't think I could bring myself to change anything about that plane. But never fear. Unless they changed the kit the wingtips are made from a curved piece(s) of light ply, balsa sheeting and some sticks. I think the curved pieces are light ply, (I supose balsa would do in a pinch) so all you would have to do is scratch make thoose arcs. The low tech way would be to lay some tracing paper over the planes and trace the arc. If you have a ship's curve, a metal template that resemables a nike swoosh, you will be able to make prettier lines. Then take some carbon paper (wal-mart, kinko's etc.) put the carbon paper between the wood and the tracing paper and draw around the line agian. If you happen to have a scribe agian you will make a prettier line. Then use the outline on the wood to cut out a new arc and sand to the plans. Bam! A new wing tip in the same amount of time you would have been on hold with Sig's techie support.
