I think that the Tower Hobbies .40 trainer will be fine. I just bought a couple for my old man. They are made by Hobbico, (but cheaper), they only take a couple nights to put together and have good instructions. They also come with a garentee that you will learn how to fly or Tower Hobbies will replace it with a trainer of less or equal value.
