. I've looked at the Funtana 90 and I'm just not sure about it. I've seen Kyle's video for it and have heard lots of good things and bad things about it too.

I have only heard two bad things about the Funtana:
1) the wing servo mounts are weak...this has been fixed with the version two wings, so it is not a valid complaint.
2) people have had flutter problems...SIMPLE SOLUTION= LEARN HOW TO FLY! If you don't have throttle control, you are not ready for a 3D plane. Other people will chime in and say they know how to fly and still had problems. I guarantee you one, or a combination of, three things happened:
1) poor quality servos
2) careless linkage setup. You need to have proper mechanical advantage, and the point at which the clevis attaches to the control horn should be directly over the hinge line. If not...HELLO FLUTTER!
3)they didn't seal the hinge gaps..nuff said there.
Go to the other forums (
www.rcgroups.com www.flyingciykus.com) and read what they have to say about this plane. This forum is the only place I have heard anything bad about the funtana, so there must be a reason for it.
