I had two LT 40's. The first was powered with an OS 46Fx. The second one was powered with an OS 52 four stroke. Both flew great, but I really liked the way the second one flew with the OS 52.

I wrecked the first one trying to roll to low to the ground in windy conditions. Banged up the fuse and wing. Before I could fix it, my wife drove over the wing with our van. (The wing fell off a shelf in our garage. She says she didn't see it. BTW, the wing joint held together, no glass either - just 30 minute epoxy.) I lost the second LT40 in a midair. Totaled the fuse. But the wing is repairable. So eventually, I'll put the the surviving fuse and wing together for my own little Phoenix.
