RE: Hirobo therter conversion
I figured as much. Since you've gotten a chance to put it through its paces, Ive got a few more questions.
If you give it full left or right, will it try to roll over, or does it stay level and just slip sideways faster.
What about full forward or back? Does it try to loop, or just fly straight faster.
I know its capable of ferris wheels, piroettes, etc. but can you do a maneuver that looks like a stall turn for a airplane? Not sure what the heli equivalent would be called. You know, pull the nose up, wait till it "stalls" kick the rudder (er tail rotor)around, and come back down? What are some other maneuvers you've been able to pull off?
One of the other guys on here mentioned a maneuver I would call the "Kiss n' Tail". Where he hovered it in front of him and kissed the tail.
I already made a landing pad for mine. Small piece of plywood painted dark grey, with a big white circle and "H" in the middle. I figured this would be better than landing on carpet and snagging a skid.
