Default RE: Project Bash

SublimeJason : The HD rails are the same as the original stock but with the "webbing" not removed. More plastic left from the molding proccess. They are a running update to the LST so I think all the newest ones already have them...

Groundforce-RCU : Yep, there is a Dynamite Fail-Safe in the radio box. As for the grommets... I took them off the original chassis plate and they have rolled somewhere that I can't find them. Decided to throw 'er together for the Monster Jam and find some grommets later.

tocache: Light in the front, heavy in the rear.

JaysonR : I just tucked them in the ends. They have a little installation FAQ on thier website that shows that.

ThermalRD : I will let you know as soon as she gets some run time. It's been through 4 tanks of a gentle break-in. A good friend (the guy who painted the body) has one in his MGT and he HATED it for the first gallon... Didn't want to tune, touchy and a lot of headaches. Since then, he's run 6 more gallons though it and loves it to death. Has so much power that a lot of the local racers feel it's too much for them to handle on the track. We will see how the LST handles it

GeneralG40 : I will give a report on the 23mm rims / hubs after this weekend. I have LST # 132 and she's seen a LOT of use / abuse since I got her and I am NOT afraid to beat her up. This truck has taken so much abuse and stuck together that I can't believe it! When I switched to 40 series rims and Bowties out at the local track, I broke a LOT of axles. I mean a LOT! Every run, snap, there goes another one. I think it's the offset combined with the small surface area of the 14mm hexes that stresses them so much. The 40 series rims also tended to warp the center out just by looking at them... These new ones look to be pretty sturdy but we will find out
