Yes they are lined up correctly. If I had taken the picture standing back a little farther you would be able to see that the notches are lined up correctly and that they can only be installed one way. CG acknowledged the problem and it appears at least one other person experienced the same problem. Even if I was to turn it around, it is still too short.
