Don't think of the 4 channel as a mistake. Most likely it cost only a little more than a flight pack. As a bonus you got a charger and transmitter. Buy a 6 or 7 channel computer radio that's compatable and on the same frequency and you're good to go. If you ever have problems with the computer transmitter, you've at least got the 4 channel to use. You can also use the 4 channel transmitter as a buddy box if you need help with the second, or any subsequent plane, or if you decide you want to teach later on.
