I have just purchased an OS 160 FX. It will be next week before I can start break-in and testing. My bench setup is engineered for me to obtain very accurate static thrust measurements. I will start with the Stock OS muffler, Cool Power 15%, and an APC 18x6W prop. After break-in, I will change to the new SlimLine inverted Pitts muffler, and probably a Cline regulator.

My ST 2300 turns the APC 18x6W at 8700 rpm, and develops 17lbs, 2 oz static thrust. I am hoping the OS 160 will get another 400 - 500 rpm on the same prop. That should develop over 18 lbs static thrust.
